Privacy policy

Retriever is built so that the interesting data never exists on our side. This page lists everything we hold, in plain words. Last updated: July 7, 2026.

What we collect

An anonymous device id and its server-issued token, the offers you clicked, funnel beacons (offer id and timestamp when a chip is shown), a coarse region code derived from your browser language (e.g. BE, never from your IP), the conversions merchant networks report back, and your email address if you join the waitlist. No account, no name, no profile.

What we never collect

Your conversations, the pages you read, your code, your browsing history. Detection runs on your device against a locally cached catalog; page content is never transmitted. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, and we never sell or share data with anyone.

Where it lives and for how long

Data is stored on our hosting providers' servers (Vercel and Neon, United States). Device data is kept while your device is registered; waitlist emails are used for one launch email and deleted on request at any time.

Your controls

Uninstalling the extension or running the uninstall command deletes everything local. To erase your server-side data (device, clicks, cashback entries, waitlist email), write to privacy@retrievercash.com from any address, with your device id if you have one.
